Time to cut the chord with Morrow, much rather have O'Gara back there learning instead of Morrow, doesn't make much sense to me and the Heinen kid must have pictures of Cload raiding the fridge at night or something, so they scratch Spoons, send Czarnak to Pro ????

Morrow was actually playing quite well last year at the end of the year and why not give him a game.

Soooo..... You're sh!tting on one of out better prospects already after 3 games into his NHL career. Welp, sometimes this fanbase....

Spooner for TvR? (from the last thread) I'd consider it. Don't know much about TvR. I've become sick of watching Chicago and find that goal song nauseating.

I really haven't seen anything from him in the Pre-Season or the first 3 games, but he is playing on the 2nd line and I think hampering Krejci, they scratch Spooner and send Czarnik down to Providence...so ya I don't get it, and as far as Morrow "why not give him a game" the guy's been on this Team now for what 3 years, and has not proven to be a Top-6 NHL d-man so ya I'd MUCH rather see the kid from Massapequa playing in the League than Morrow.

morrow is only 23 and czarnik needs some ice time. he hasn't been the same since the concussion. spooner sucks and has been lazy so far this year. heinen is a fine young player and the only one holding krejci back is krejci. IMO.

Haven't seen anything from him in pre-season?? Realllllyyyyy? He scored a goal in the first 3 games and was one of the most solid performers throughout the pre-season. 3 goals in 5 games I think... Damn, he shoulda scored 5....

Whats wrong with giving Morrow a game since he hasn't played yet this year. O'Gara has been satisfactory but it';s not like he was the second coming of Bobby Orr. Morrow hasn;t been bad at all and it's not like him coming in will be a drop off form O'Gara.

Ohhhhhh He's from Massapequa, I had no idea... sorry bro, should just give him the C!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spooner is fast, young, and can score/set up plays. We constantly complain about trading away these kinds of players, or don't give them a chance, who don't have the fundamentals down.

Spooner is a good second line player. He isn't going to win any awards, and maybe never will. But if he can be signed for Belesky type money long term, then he is an asset. Sitting him for a game is possibly a good wake-up call which he might need. BUT, I don't like it considering how the CCC line of Spoon, Backes, Krejci was tearing it up in preseason. This game would have been a chance for them to get some chemistry going again with Bergeron back. Kind of disappointing, but hopefully it works out well. Moore, Schaller, Nash, Acciari; they played a decent game on Monday, but we need more skill in than them.

I still wouldn't marry Spooner to this lineup. not with Vatrano, Senyshyn and DeBrusk in the system.

Right glove. I wouldn't either. But we don't know if those guys are for real yet.

And Debrusk And sen aren't ready yet. Without Soooner, our third line next year is basically all rookies. He is a stop gap for now with the potential to grow.

Of course but I don't mean this season. I would think in the next season all 3 will push for that spot.

Yeah, well assuming Vegas takes Subban, I think that it's someone like Hayes taking up a spot that could be given to one of the young guys. We need to move something for a Dman. Even if we overpay. We don't need Czarnik, Heinen, Debrusk, and Senyshyn. Plus we have Vatrano as well.

So Spooner is expendable just because his value is higher than the prospects.

However, I'd like to see Spooner, McQuaid, and a pick (or Czarnik) traded for someone like Fowler or Shattenkirk. ANother salary would have to come back though for Fowler. Perhaps Cogliano as I mentioned before.
